Anxiety Therapy
You can find peace amongst the chaos
Your anxiety may look like your hands and legs fidgeting. You may tell yourself “just don’t think about it”, but the thought continues to persist. It may be difficult for you to stay present because your mind is often occupied with the past of what you “should have done” or with the future of what you’re striving to do While you try to sleep, everything you worry about may crowd your mind—school, work, future job, friendships—all in a cloud of chaos.
You may feel like the worst is going to happen, or that only bad things happen to you. You may feel like everyone is judging you wherever you go. You may often place blame on yourself for anything that goes wrong, making the situation personal to you, even though it may not be about you.
Your body may feel stuck and paralyzed by your fears. You may feel stiff, or feel like you’re on edge. Your heart may race, your hands may sweat, and your throat may close up making it hard to breathe.
