Each option reflects the fee per 50 min session accepted via credit or debit card. You will not be asked to explain your choice. I believe that you understand your financial situation more than I do, and that you can have the ability to choose an option that best fits you. Therapy services are the same regardless of the price point you choose.

In-Network Insurance

I am in-network with the following insurance plans. Please be aware that I only accept the insurance plan if it is your primary insurance.

  • Aetna

  • Anthem Blue Cross of California; Anthem UCSHIP

  • UnitedHealthcare; Optum

  • Oxford

  • Calling your insurance prior to searching for therapy services could help you understand your benefits in relation to mental health services and may help prevent future complications such claim denials. Below are questions to ask your insurance:

    • Is this my primary insurance?

    • What are my in-network benefits for mental health services?

      • Your insurance may also ask for the following:

        • Provider Type: Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California #118955

          • Type of therapy: Outpatient individual telehealth therapy

          • Billing Code/Session Length: 90837 (53-60 min Session)

          • Frequency of sessions: about 1x/week

    • Are there any pre-approvals needed? (ie referral from primary care doctor or school?)

    • Do I have a yearly deductible? When does it end/start? How much of my deductible has been met at this time?

      • Once I meet my deductible, how much coverage will I have for mental health services?

    • Are there any limitations to my benefits? (ie number of sessions covered).

    • What is my copay?

Out-of-Network Benefits

If your insurance is not listed above, then I am considered out-of-network with your insurance provider. You may qualify for Out-of-Network benefits under your insurance, which means that your insurance may pay for some of the cost.

Before you begin services I highly recommend that you call your insurance provider to verify if your insurance covers out-of-network therapy.

    • What are my out-of-network benefits for mental health services?

      • Your insurance may also ask for the following:

        • Type of therapy: Outpatient individual telehealth therapy

        • Billing Code/Session Length: 90837 (53-60 min Session)

    • Is a diagnosis required to use my out-of-network benefits?

    • Do I have a yearly deductible? When does it end/start? How much of my deductible has been met at this time?

      • Once I meet my deductible, how much coverage will I have for mental health services?

    • What is my copay?
